“This house was just perfect. Awesome location and great set up for the bikes with outdoor shower, bike wash area and bike lock up undercover storage. The house itself was a fantastic set up with all single beds with top quality sheets and doona’s, great kitchen and the 2 bathrooms. Everything was spotless and we didn’t want for anything. Cosy fireplace and view were a bonus. We’ll be back for sure!!”

“Absolutely outstanding! This place has everything, the shed for bike storage, outdoor hot shower to rinse off pre coming inside, the mud room, very well equipped kitchen. The beds are ridiculously comfy, hotel standard. Excellent sized living area, and the two bathrooms were fantastic with so many muddy people after a very wet Blue Tier. Great communication with the host, easy check in, check out process was simple - unlike many air bnb’s! We will definitely stay again, providing the place is not already booked out! Only suggestion would be if you are needing a cot message in advance and request it. I assumed there would be one (my error), the host dropped one off very quickly which was lovely, but would have been difficult if we had arrived late at night to no cot.”

“A great property for our latest stay in Derby. The property is well designed, and really well appointed with crockery etc in the kitchen and for the BBQ and quality appliances and fixtures. Plenty of blankets, plenty of room and the mud/drying room is a great addition. Balcony area is perfect for relaxing in the afternoon, great view out over the valley.”

“Great property (Probably best in Derby) and Great view. Very well equipped inside and out (Bike store) with everything you could need. The Drying room was great for drying out your gear ready for the next. Close walk and riding distance to town. Beds were super comfy with plenty of room. Thank you for the lovely accommodation.”

“Perfect location for MTB. Ample space, great living area which is lovely and homely. It has everything you could need in the kitchen. Laundry facilities are fantastic. Beds are super comfy. The garage for MTB lockup is brilliant. You’ve got to stay here.”

“I didn’t want to leave this beautifully appointed property in Derby. The house is very well set up for mountain bikers and for someone like myself, who doesn't mountain bike, it was a perfect space to relax and unwind for a couple of days. The kitchen was very well equipped with quality utensils and plenty of crockery and glassware for 8 people. The outlook is stunning and with just a short walk to the centre of Derby. We will definitely be back.”

“A lovely winter getaway in our home state. Nice big windows to take in the frosty morning view followed by gorgeous winter sunshine. The fire warmed us up nicely, everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It was super clean and our hosts communication was clear and informative. Close and convenient to the trails, highly recommended this stay and Derby!”

“We had a great stay at the house, it is warm and very comfortable. The mud room entry was a plus as it was a wet and muddy weekend. Very handy also to have two bathrooms. It was great having the bike storage and washing facility.”

“We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Lake View Derby 'Cascade'. The house is great for a family + friends and the layout of the house is comfortable, super clean and well appointed. For large groups and double the fun you could hire the adjoining property. The mud room, outdoor shower and bike shed is great for managing kids post ride. The wood heater warms the whole house and the beds are very big and comfortable for winter retreats. Just a short walk to cafes and bike shops and a slightly longer but easy walk to the lake and sauna. Easy walk/ride to track head and shuttles. Being slightly higher up on the hill the house gets plenty of sunshine and beautiful views over the town. We highly recommend the property - and Megan was very helpful and a great communicator.”

“A well appointed house, particularly the kitchen. Excellent creature comforts and stylishly decorated. We enjoyed the fire in the evening and the bike facilities was such a bonus, replete with bike wash area and storage. A really pleasant home high up on the hill with views over the village. A quick easy ride to the tracks and local shops n hotel. Highly recommend.”

Designed for between 6 to 8 people the fit-out is fantastic with plenty of room with dedicated dining space, lounge with fire burner and fully equipped kitchen.
