“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Derby. Megan was a good host who communicated well and was very responsive. This place is set up high with great views. It is a great location, very quiet and peaceful and the road is a useful cut through to the main Derby shop area. Great for a big group and facilities for bikes are excellent.”

“A very well designed 3 BR apartment suitable for small groups (or large families.) Excellent outlook over Derby, and walking distance to the Dorset Hotel. Parking can be tight if you have two or more cars. But Cascade has everything you need and Derby is a great place for adventures.”

The location was great, it was spotlessly clean, Megan's communication was wonderful, views sensational, the fire was lovely...perfectly set up, especially with the bike shed / cleaning station / wet area as you walk into the home. The perfect home away from home for your stay in Derby. Having 2 x bathrooms was perfect as the kids had one, and we had the other! Perfect! We would definitely stay again.”

“Absolutely outstanding! This place has everything, the shed for bike storage, outdoor hot shower to rinse off pre coming inside, the mud room, very well equipped kitchen. The beds are ridiculously comfy, hotel standard. Excellent sized living area, and the two bathrooms were fantastic with so many muddy people after a very wet Blue Tier. Great communication with the host, easy check in, check out process was simple - unlike many air bnb’s! We will definitely stay again, providing the place is not already booked out! Only suggestion would be if you are needing a cot message in advance and request it. I assumed there would be one (my error), the host dropped one off very quickly which was lovely, but would have been difficult if we had arrived late at night to no cot.”

The fire warmed us up nicely, everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It was super clean and our hosts communication was clear and informative. “A well appointed house, particularly the kitchen. Excellent creature comforts and stylishly decorated. We enjoyed the fire in the evening and the bike facilities was such a bonus, replete with bike wash area and storage. A really pleasant home high up on the hill with views over the village. A quick easy ride to the tracks and local shops n hotel. Highly recommend.”
